How To Return Your Item to Gap via Mail

Returns to Gap via mail are free. To initiate the process, here is what you need to do:

  1. Create a Gap Returns Shipping Label with USPS or UPS using the interactive returns process—If you don’t wish to use the Gap Returns Shipping Label, mail your return to 100 Gap Inc. Direct Gateway, Groveport, OH 43125. Note that you will have to pay for shipping
  2. Prepare the parcel securely with the original packing slip and packaging
  3. Affix the label on the parcel and remove or cover any other shipping labels

When the return parcel is ready, you can mail it using these carriers:

  • USPS—Give it to the delivery guy, drop it off at the nearest post office, or schedule a free pick-up
  • UPS—Drop it off at the nearest location

When Gap receives your return items, a refund will be applied to your card. It may take up to ten business days to see the refund in your account.

What if I Want an Exchange?

If you would like an exchange, add the following steps:

  1. Browse for the item that you would like to order
  2. Contact the Gap customer service to order the item

Your credit card will be billed for the exchange item, and it will be shipped for free. Once your return is processed, you will receive a refund on your card for the amount billed for the exchange item.
